Application to Stay in the Dormitory for Students Academic Year 2021

  1. To determine the properties and student qualities of each dormitories.

1.1 Students at the undergraduate level (Monks and Novices) are required to stay at International Student Dormitory A

1.2 Undergraduate students (male householder) are required to stay at Student Dormitory A.

1.3 Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral are required to stay at the Dormitory A.

1.4 Undergraduate students – Master – Doctorate. International Program and IBSC Students are required to stay at the International Student B

1.5 Female householder students with bachelor’s-master-doctorate degrees (Nuns and female householders) are required to stay at Dormitory Building B. ** Information Article No. 4.4 are from 92 Years building (Paññãnandha) **

  1. Documents required for admission to dormitory.

2.1 Student Certificate

2.2 Copy of house registration (for Thai students)

2.3 Copy of passport (for foreign students)

2.4 A copy of the registration receipt

2.5 Copy of Ordination certificate / Identification card.

  1. Admission schedule

3.1 Submit an application to stay in a dormitory from May 24, to June 15, 2021.

3.2 Interview before staying on June 18-19, 2021 at the dormitory office that applied.

3.3 Announcement of student names that have been interviewed on June 21, 2021.

3.4 Register, pay dues and make a formal check-in. Between June 25-30, 2021.

3.5 Orientation Ceremony for student’s dormitory on July 1, 2021.

  1. Dormitory maintenance and insurance fees

Students must pay for maintenance and insurance costs as follows.

4.1 Student Dormitory A

– Administrators, faculty members and officer, both the monks and the householder Dormitory maintenance fee 1,000 baht per month, (no insurance fee).

– Undergraduate students (male householder) and Master’s degree students, Ph.D. (Monks and Novices), dormitory maintenance fee 1,000 baht per month (no insurance fee).

4.2 International Dormitory A for undergraduate courses (Monks and Novices) the maintenance of a dormitory at 1,000 baht per one semester, and 1,500 baht for insurance.

4.3 International Dormitory B

– Bachelor’s degree (International Program) maintenance fee, one person / 1,000 baht per semester, dormitory insurance fee 1,500 baht

– Master’s degree (International course) maintenance fee, one person / 1,500 baht per 1 semester, dormitory insurance fee 1,500 baht

– Doctoral degree (International Program) maintenance fee, one person 2,000 baht per semester, dormitory insurance fee 1,500 baht

4.4.1 Student (Nuns and Bhikkhuni) insurance fee 2,500 baht / dormitory maintenance fee 1,000 per month / electricity 5 baht per unit / water 6 baht per unit
4.4.2 Student householder (female) insurance fee 2,500 baht / dormitory maintenance fee 1,500 per month / electricity fee 5 baht per unit / water fee 6 baht per unit
4.4.3 Administrators, faculty and staff (women), insurance fee 2,500 baht / dormitory fee 2,500 per month / electricity fee 5 baht per unit / water fee 6 baht per unit

  1. Application through the dormitory website (https://dorm.mcu.ac.th) In case of being unable to come and apply by themselves due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) situation, applicants can apply through the Dormitory Website. Student Affairs Division, according to the procedures and methods specified on the website.

Students can follow the dormitory application results and details through the Dormitory Website, Student Affairs Division (https://dorm.mcu.ac.th) and bulletin boards, public relations boards, dormitory offices, students who submitted applications and public relations boards in front of the Student Affairs Division,  Floor 3, Room A 300, Building.
